Starting with the finest hat bodies – 100% pure beaver – and the block most suitable to your style and head shape, we block the crown of the hat.
Blocking the crown of the hat.
Steaming the hat's crown allows the crown to mold to the block.

After the hat cools from the steaming its time to flange the brim.
Making the break line.
A sandbag press from the 1900s is used to finish.
This process is repeated until the desired result is achieved.

We move back to the crown and start the sanding.
More sanding & more sanding & ...
The hat is then ironed.

Next we cut the brim to the desired width. We fit the sweatband to the hat… And sew sweatband in the hat.

Then the hat is then shaped to satisfy the customer.
When the hat is complete, you have a work of art that you will be proud to wear.
