Trent Johnson
& the GHW Team
Trent's Road Shows
There are those fortunate men and women who have made
a career doing what they love to do. It shows in their attitude and
success. It shows in their commitment and expertise.
Meet Trent Johnson, hatter and owner of Greeley Hat Works.
More than a few years back, Trent was mending fence and working
cows to put himself through school when, by chance, an opportunity
came around to apprentice in the art and craft of making fine, custom
hats — not something usually found in a college catalog.
Well, the die was cast. After developing and honing his skills,
he went on to be the owner of Greeley Hat Works, where he has built
hats for Presidents, entertainers, CEOs, cowboys and others who appreciate
his skill and innovation.
Combining his talents and experience with the needs and desires
of his customers, he strives to make every hat as unique and original
as its owner. Sometimes this is measured in subtle variations and
sometimes in the outrageous, but the goal is 100% customer satisfaction.
Here's what people have said about Trent, the Greeley Hat Works team and their work:
"My new hat is great. I will wear it with pride. "
—President George W. Bush
"...The quality and attention to detail in customizing my
hat is first class and I am thrilled with the results."
—Peter H. Coors, CEO, Coors Brewing Company
"A hat is a very personal thing, like boots or
a guitar. If it doesn't fit and make you feel good it isn't worth
much. The hats that Trent Johnson makes at Greeley Hat Works fit
and I feel good wearing them. Trent's a great hat maker."
—Red Steagall
"...Trent simply demonstrated a commitment to excellence
we found nowhere else."
—Charles P. Schroeder, former CEO, National Cattlemen's Beef Association
"We are fortunate in our country to have individuals like
Mr. Johnson as he provides great service, does it with enjoyment
and yet puts others before himself..."
—Charles W. Sylvester, former General Manager, National Western
Stock Show & Rodeo
"You are a true artist...the hat fits like a glove and I
have been spoiled for life..."
—Barrett Sydnor Oden
"Trent Johnson? What do I think of Trent Johnson? Well, I've
sent him hats worth as much as $30,000 to block. And over the past
few years, the hats Trent has blocked for me probably have a total
retail value of well over a million dollars. I guess you could
say that I have literally put my business in his hands. That's
what I think of Trent Johnson"
—Brent Black, CEO, Panama Hat Company of the Pacific
At Greeley Hat Works, we build hats one at a time, but it takes more than one set of hands. Meet the craftspeople who make up our team.
If you're in Greeley, you might want to stop in and meet Trent. Or
you might want to call and visit about a new hat. In any case, I'm
sure you'll enjoy the visit.
